Dozens has been named one of the top 25 startups in the UK

3 July 2019

The UK's leading and most well established index of startups in the UK, the Startups 100, has been announced today and Dozens has leapfrogged straight in at number 25!

That’s number 25 across all sectors of startups, and amongst fintechs we were number 6.

Given we’re one of the youngest companies on the list, we’re all walking around the office pretty stunned, but equally beaming that our hard work has been recognised.

They said this about our offering:

“In an increasingly competitive market, you’d better have a game-changing product if you’re going to launch a new challenger bank.

And that’s just what Dozens is – a gamechanger.”

And had some lovely things to say about the team:

"Dozens benefits from an extremely experienced leadership team, having been founded by Aritra Chakravarty, who spent 13 years working with HSBC in a variety of departments.

Chakravarty’s team is also refreshingly diverse, consisting of a number of individuals from non-finance backgrounds as well as being 65% women-led.

Dozens aims to drive innovation in financial services and has already received generous backing from financial players."

Well... we don’t know what else to say! #beaming

About the Startups 100 Index:

Now in its 11th year, the Startups 100 index identifies UK companies launched in the last five years with the potential to ‘change their industries for the better’. Companies have to demonstrate innovation, solid financials, economic impact and the ability to scale.

As the only index of its kind, the prestigious Startups 100 is renowned for uncovering businesses that will go on to become major brands, and even household names. It boasts alumni companies including Deliveroo, Notonthehighstreet, Zoopla and HelloFresh.
